Star-Lord and Jesus: Lord of All – Discuss the prompts and scriptures below to discover the similarities between Jesus and Star-Lord. 1. Compare the Earth of Guardians to Nazareth, Jesus’ hometown. The Guardians and their Struggles – Each of the guardians (maybe with the exception of Groot) has a personal struggle that derails the adventure. Identify the guardian you most relate to. Groot’s Sacrifice – Groot gives his life to save his friends…and is brought back to life as baby Groot! The direct parallels to Christ can’t be any more obvious!
