Values

When you put everything in Jesus’ hands, amazing things begin to grow. At His Hands, we don’t believe you need something; we believe you need someone. We believe Jesus is that someone. He knows & loves you, and he’s so excited to connect with you in ways you’ve never experienced before. We want to help you develop deep roots in a relationship with Jesus so that you can grow & mature into the person God created you to be, reaching out and impacting the world around you.

Loving: The Bible says that anyone who doesn’t love doesn’t know God, because God is love (1 John 4:8). We love people, because Jesus loves people. We don’t just love people we agree with or people who see the world the way we do. When and if you walk through our doors, we’ll do anything we can to help you and make sure you experience the love of Jesus.

Genuine: We put a heavy focus on authenticity. Jesus isn’t a product, so church isn’t supposed to be a production. We’re the same on-stage and off. We’re ok with things being a little rough around the edges. That means you don’t have to pretend when you are here. Your rough edges won’t scare anyone away…especially Jesus.

Accessible: We work really hard to make sure that everything we do is engaging and accessible to everyone, because we’re all walking in with different backgrounds and experiences. That doesn’t mean we shy away from deep conversations or difficult topics/ideas…it just means that whatever we do or say, we take the time to think about all the different types of people God brings through our doors. We believe you’ll have an easy time “clicking” here.

Deep: Jesus is really deep. Sometimes in a desire to be accessible, churches can boil Jesus down into something much less than he is. We don’t believe being accessible means sacrificing depth. So when we get together, we really study Scripture (even the hard parts). We are convinced that everyone has been created by God with the capacity to know and understand him (as much as humanly possible). In other words, even if you’re new to the whole Jesus thing, we think you’ll be amazed at how quickly you’ll “get it”…because God created you to.

Fun: We take God seriously, but we don’t take ourselves seriously. We really value having a good time. In the early days of church, we called our gathering “the party.” That same passion for joy and laughter exists today. So feel free to be yourself, smile, laugh, and ENJOY your time with God and other Jesus followers.
